Police have protected a four-year-old kid grabbed by four shooters from his home in Thika last Friday.
Kelson Kimani was protected by officers trailing the criminals in Kasarani, Nairobi, as they endeavored to exchange him to an alternate den in Mwiki.
Tending to the media in the wake of giving over the kid to his family, Kiambu County Police Commander Adiel Nyange said a multi-organization group of specialists taking a shot at the case had been trailing the guilty parties from Ruaka, where they had set up incidentally before being caught as they cleared out for an alternate den in Mwiki.
“They have been moving routinely. When we got up to speed with them they were originating from Ruaka and cutting towards Mwiki. Utilizing our apparatuses, we blocked them [in] Kasarani range,” said Mr Nyange.
The criminals included five ladies and three men who were altogether captured at the season of the save as a manhunt for three more known female associates started.
“We are upbeat that as we guaranteed the family on Friday, we have possessed the capacity to safeguard the kid and capture the guilty parties. We should ask for the court to permit us [to] hold the speculates longer as we finish up our examinations,” said Mr Nyange.
